American Pacific University, a non-profit organization, is a nationally recognized leader in hypnotherapy education. Offering university-level degrees in hypnotherapy as well as the broadest hypnosis instruction program available anywhere through its Training and Seminar Division: The Empowerment Partnership.

APU was founded in 1982 by Dr. A.M. Krasner who spent over twenty years as a successful therapist, developing and implementing the many methods of therapy and teaching that have made him famous. His students represent some of the finest hypnotherapists in the nation.

Matthew B. James, MA DCH is the President of APU and The Empowerment Partnership since 1997.
